It’s that time of year: piglet season. The sows have been hard at it and the little ones are so cute! We aren’t selling weaner pigs (feeder pigs/weaned pigs/etc.) this year as we are trying to build the herd again, but we’ll share the cute, anyway. And there is plenty of Mangalitsa to try in the store!

Mangalitsa sows and piglets digging around. They get minerals from the dirt as well as bits of food. The sows teach the youngsters how to forage.

Outdoor farrowing in a herd means that often the moms are willing to feed all comers.
