Raw Vanilla Ice Cream

Servings: 1 quart

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp arrowroot, tapioca flour, or organic cornstarch
  • 3 cp heavy cream, preferably unpasturized
  1. Beat egg yolksd

  2. Blend in all the other ingredients.

  3. Process in your ice cream maker.

  4. FREEZER METHOD: Place in shallow pans in your freezer. Hand blend or whisk periodically to break up ice chunks and keep your ice cream smooth. This takes a while but is quiet and low energy.

  5. Fold in fruit, chocolate sauce, peanut butter, or any other desired flavorings when the ice cream is almost all the way frozen and ready to serve.
